SCOPE OF WORK
INITIAL MEETING
We strive to be as thorough as possible when we meet, whether it be scope of work, materials or scheduling we want to make sure we cover all of our bases in a comprehensive and easy to understand plan. So all you have to do is watch your vision come to life.
DEMO
Once we have a comprehensive plan in place, timeline set and materials on site we call in our demo crew to take out your old kitchen in a clean and hassle free way. paving the pathway for your remodel to move forward as efficiently as possible.
PLUMBING
Unlike our competitor we don't just concern ourselves with your kitchen aesthetics but its functionality and sustainability as well. we update plumbing like ice maker, angle stops and ABS drains. so that your kitchen remains beautiful and functional for years to come.
ELECTRICAL
When it comes to your kitchen, lighting is one of the most important elements to bring out your vision. whether its pendant lights, can lights or undercabinet lighting. our team will design lighting to suit the mood.
PAINTING AND DRYWALL
Since everything is removed, we have the ideal window of doing any drywall repair work after demo, as well as paints.
CABINETS
Our cabinet installer will show up with a copy of our kitchen layout as designed and will install as shown on the plans. (We make sure the cabinets are on site the previous day)
COUNTERTOP
We install quartz countertops that you would choose from one our vendors’ showrooms. You have two options of either “pre-fab” (pre-cut depth) or “slab” (giant 5’ x 10’) piece that we would cut on site at your home. We will go over your countertop edge detail, I.e. “beveled”, “square edge”, etc, and how many holes you need to drill for your faucet fixtures.
BACKSPLASH
This is where we install tile backsplash. By this point in the project, we would have already chosen tile, grout, trim style & color and have it ready in your garage for our tile guy to install. When he shows up, he will go over layout options to make sure everyone is on the same page.
APPLIANCES
This is where we install the dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, range, & range hood. At this point it starts to feel like a real kitchen.
COMPLETION /
TOUCH UP
This is the final 10% that may at times feel like it’s dragging on as it includes tedious work that takes time & attention to detail, as it includes touchup paint on minor defects, caulking around edges that look unfinished, etc. We consider this stage of the remodel “service work” meaning you have a fully functional kitchen, minus a couple odds & ends to take care of.
